How it works

One loop, every week: plan, train, play, develop

Each step feeds the next. What you count on Saturday shows up in Monday's plan and in each player's development.

  1. 1 · Plan

    The season on one page

Blocks, themes, training days and fixtures. Each week's focus comes from your game model.

  2. 2 · Train

    Sessions in minutes

Pick activities with diagrams, or have the AI draw one. Print it, or run it from a tablet at the field.

  3. 3 · Play

    Count what matters live

Match Center: aims, the lineup, live KPI counting, goals, minutes and the half-time talk.

  4. 4 · Develop

    Every player, every block

Plans matched to the team's level, rated on what happens in games, sent home as a short report.

Features

From the season plan to Tuesday's session

Each part reads from the one before it, so the plan you make in August is still the plan in March.

Season planning

See the whole season on one screen

Lay out pre-season and each block, then every training day and game falls into place. The season at a glance shows what is written, what is in draft and what was cancelled, week by week.

  • Blocks, training days, games and load
  • This week at a glance, with the next game
  • Cancel a day and record who covered it
Season at a glance: pre-season, block 1 and block 2 across 30 weeks from August to March, with this week highlighted and totals for training days, games and training time.
Session planner

Write a session once, run it at the field

Build each activity with a diagram, timing and coaching points. Animate the movement frame by frame, then switch to presenter mode on a tablet: big text, the diagram and a timer for each activity.

  • Diagrams on pitches drawn to scale
  • Animate a pattern and export it as video
  • Presenter mode with a timer per activity
An activity in the session planner: a 4v2 rondo with its diagram, activity type, number of players, area size and suggested timing.
Presenter mode showing the same rondo full screen, with its diagram, a coaching point and a 21 minute timer.
KPIs by level of play

Measure what your level should, and aim for academy

Each KPI says what counts as an attempt and what counts as a success at recreational, competitive and academy level. Rates are successes out of attempts in your own games, never a made-up target.

  • Build KPIs from your game model, one per sub-principle
  • Count at your level, or hold the team to academy
  • See each rate rise or fall, game by game

Opponent file and game plan

Walk into the rematch with a plan

Every earlier meeting with an opponent in one file: scores, your notes, their key players and your KPIs against them. Then a pre-match report by phase of play, with what to do, what to count and what to train this week.

  • From your games, last season's, and other teams at your club
  • Add the plan to the week in one tap
  • Print it for your staff

Player development

Follow every player's progress

A development plan for each player, matched to the team's level and rated on what happens in games. Review at the end of each block and send a short, kind report home: going well, progressing, next focus.

  • Reviews by block, rated from the games you count
  • Attendance from the sessions you ran
  • A player passport that moves with them at the club
A player's progress card: two block reviews, attendance of 12 of 14 sessions and a short-term goal to scan before receiving, on track.

FAQ

What coaches and clubs ask

Do I need my own game model?

No. Start from the example game model and change it as you go; your sessions, KPIs and player plans follow it.

Does it suit recreational teams?

Yes. Coach Basic keeps it simple: plain-words KPIs rated by eye, sessions with diagrams, and AI tips that teach as you go.

What is the academy standard?

Every KPI has a success for recreational, competitive and academy level. Teams count at their own level, and any coach can hold their team to academy.

Does it work on a phone at the field?

Yes. It runs in the browser on phone, tablet and laptop with nothing to install. Match Center has a game mode built for a phone in bright sun, and sessions run from a tablet.

Who owns the work a coach puts in?

Each coach's work is theirs. Sessions, season plans and player notes are saved to their account and sync across their own devices.

On a Club plan, directors see each team's week and player progress, and coaches stay in charge of their own plans.

Can we use our own club colours and logo?

Yes. A director sets the club's colours, logo and font once, and every coach and every club email uses them.

Do coaches pay to join a club?

No. The club's plan covers every coach and director it invites.

Can we cancel?

Yes, any time, from your account page. Export your players first if you want to keep them.
